I am trying to get a Color Classic (OS7.1) connected to an ethernet network. I've installed an Asante ethernet card and the classic "sees" the available networked computers through the Chooser. However, when I attempt to mount a computer running OS9.1 the chooser quits. How can I connect these machines?
Our server (G3B&W) is running OS8.6 but was not on the network when I connected the classic. Will it be possible for the classic to download files to it? Thanks for the information.
