OT/PPP works fine with 7.1. You'll want to use the installer though, not try to copy it out of a later version. I use 7.1 on my Duo 280c with Open Transport, OT/PPP, Appearance Extension, and some resedit hacks for icons from 8.1 and not only does it look and operate mostly like 8.1, but boots in 3 megs of RAM and works great :) Someone really needs to make something like Wish I Were, but for system version instead of Gestalt ID.
