Thanks for the responses. I was just curious about this because I haven't really noticed "the time" before. My SE/30 boots 5 meg cold in about 16 seconds running 6.0.8. That's kind of spoilt me I guess. Still the humming of it's hard drive has made me think about running a plus with a ram disk. Probably will go down to 2 meg though. Just can't seem to fill up that 4 meg of ram :-0
