Hi,
I've got recently a quite different computer: the Unitron Mac 512 <http://www.lowendmac.com/clones/unitron.html>, considered the first Mac clone ever made. Well, the problem is that this computer, that has the same form factor of the Fat Mac, doesn't boot from a floppy containing old versions of the System Software, like System 3.2. I've contacted on of the guys involved on the Unitron Mac project in the 80's, Rainer Brockerhoff <http://www.brockerhoff.net/>, and he told me that some of the Unitron Mac 512's needed to first load the ROM from a special-formatted floppy, and then load the System Software from another floppy. I've contacted people at Unitron <http://www.unitron.com.br/> about how should a get this sepcial ROM floppy, but I've received no answer. Well, I would like to know if anyone of you could give me some help about this problem... -- Marcelus. <http://magiozal.blogspot.com/> -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
