Hi all,
I know nothing about connecting SCSI devises so I need some very basic help.
I have a power Mac 5500 and a Jasmine Technologies DirectDrive. The hard
drive inside is not terminated and I do not think that the drive enclosure
is but do not know how to tell for sure.
1) If I just try it will I damage anything or will it just no work properly?

There's little risk of damage - it just won't work.

2) If I need a terminator where is it connected?

If the external drive has two SCSI connectors, put the terminator on the 'spare' connector.

Please take all replies off list after this one, as a 5500 isn't really compact! ;-)
