Hi:

I must make a short report and, of course, request for your able assistance
again on two problems I encountered.

Firstly and formostly, I wish to report that the 800K disk drive is fully
operational. Pandora's Box is alive and well!!!! I received a complete copy
of Mac 6.0.8. I used Utilities disks one and two and, lo and behold, she
boots up perfectly!!!!! Thanks to your great information. Now a moment to
cheer

   SUCCESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But, of course, there's my two new problems. While trying to create a boot
disk (at least that is what I thought I was doing) I inserted the system
tools disk as instructed. It created the disk and I let it write over the
system tools disk. I don't want to repeat this mistake again.

So, logically, it would be wise to go to the Apple website and download the
system tools disk for Mac OS 6.0.8. Okay, so which download is the system
tools disk of the 4 downloads listed? Is it wise at this point to blank out
all the disks and download them in order from the website?

Logic would dictate using a Mac to download the files. Well, I have two
PowerMac that I have spoken to you all about. I have a PowrMac 7200/90 and a
7500/100. I haven't attempted to resurrect the 7200. It is in pieces and,
without a proper cover, I'm concerned about it getting damaged or being an
electrical hazard. That leaves the 7500, which is a complete mystery to me.
I have a power cord for it now and can hook up the monitor, keyboard and
mouse from the 7200 to create a working system. Whether it has an Ethernet
card in it or not, I'm not sure. I'm going to find out. I have never surfed
the web with a Mac before so I don't even know if it has the software to do
it. But I guess I'll find out when I get it together.

Knowing that I have an operating Windows PC, I downloaded Tranmac 4.2 for
Windows 98SE in the program files. So how do I use it? Does it lauch
automatically?

What have I done?????

What do I do next????

And where do I go next????
