Oh, yeah. Bewst bet is to open it and check to be sure the connectors are
all in place between the motherboard and the power sweep board. Then, be
sure all the RAM is tightly clicked-in.

If you get a fizzle from the speaker, there could be a problem with the two
boards. 

Check FIRST, though the above before any replacing is done. There ARE still
boards available out there, so if it comes to it, that's an option, too.
