The Harris Performer 2 is a 68000 CPU accelerator that runs at 16Mhz. or twice the standard speed of an SE. It would make a noticeable difference in the operability of your SE, especially if you max out the RAM to 4 megs. I'm guessing, but I think that the Performer would work well with both later System 6 and System 7 up to 7.1, maybe later. It may require software drivers to activate it. I hope you were given the disks when you received the accelerator. For what it's worth, I've tried to find a Performer for some years here in the states. Ever since I saw a picture of it in a Mac Addict magazine. In my opinion, it seems quite rare. Jeff -- Compact Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/>.
