Here in the UK, that wonder of dodgy TV programming, Channel 5, filled the Sunday afternoon schedule this week with the classic (!) 80's film, "Short Circuit." Pretty dull since I'm no longer 8 years old, but I DID see a compact Mac in it!

Just as Steve Guttenberg is about to hit the road to try and track down Number 5 before the army find him, he's seen loading all kinds of hi-tech equipment into the back of a van. On the trolley he pushes along is one of the original Mac cardboard boxes, and he pulls a compact Mac out of it and loads it onto the van!

Well, it got me excited. The high point in an otherwise turgid film... ;)
