The number one problem in using an external drive with a Plus
is that the Plus can't "see" any drive not formatted to a 3:1 interleave.

To make it mount onto the desktop, use a SCSI Probe or MT. Everything which
will mount can be mounted with one of these two utilities.

Then go on to use a non-Apple Drive Formatter like Lido 7.56, APS Utilities,
Micronet SCSI Utility.

Most are old enough to be public domain. I have good results with either of
these three, but little with the Apple version of HD/SC for System 6.
