Hi list; long-time "observer," but don;t get to using my Classic or my 128k
much...

Anyway, had a question: I will soon embark on modifying my daughter's Color
Classic w/ a '040 board. Upon reading the (plethora!) of information available,
I see there are basicly two screen mods avaialble:

1. the "High-Res" video modification and
2. the VGA modification.

As this machine will be for a 4-year old girl, I do not want her eyes to get
tired from a low refresh screen, I am leaning toward the VGA mod, even though
it will preclude replacing the 575 mob with the CC mobo (if ever I need to do
it)...

But the High-RES mod, I have read, sends more power thru the parts than was
designed; is that dangerous in any way? I am more concerned w/ heat (or other
dangerous issues) than the parts wearing out...

THanks,

Craig W.
