My dream may yet come to fruition... A 33Mhz 68040 Color Classic with 128MB of RAM and 1MB VRAM for true color internal 640x480 video, and maybe even dual ethernet.

Why dual?

Dual ethernet so if I decide to use it as a NAT box running NetBSD... which is also why the LCD would be really useful. If I run the machine 24/7, I don't think there will be any way I can prevent the CRT from getting wear and tear and losing lifespan, especially under netbsd which I don't think has any energy-saver type of monitor controls. I actually wish they had done the analog dial under the display like the SE/30 that lets you turn the brightness down entirely (does anyone know if that will completely save an SE/30 display from phosphor death?)
