Hi Andrew- IMHO, 7.5.5 is not for a Mac Plus. I tried it on my Plus, and it took almost 10 minutes to get to the desktop. If you don't mind this wait, byall means, use it!
I have always used System 1.0 for my Plus (after finding it on the internet). It's the fastest, and (I think) the best OS I have ever used (besides Panther, of course).
