Classic II --> PowerMac6500

I am thinking of upgrading a Classic II with the logic board from a PowerMac 
6500.  I am trying to build an MP3 server.  I want to use the Classic 
because of its small screen and small footprint.  I want to upgrade to the 
6500 because it can use cheap IDE drives and is much faster.

Has anybody done anything like this?  I'm particulary interested in how to 
connect the Classic's monitor to the PowerMac and how to connect the power 
supply.
