Firstly, Thanks Rob.....has helped and have resoldered a J1 connection and is now up and running......
Secondly, Jeff, you are astute!.....the floppy has been somewhat "sticky" and am in the process pulling apart as I think the "problem" has been in 2 places.... Will let you know the result......
