My Mystic isn't networking properly. It is using a Sonic chipped CS I NIC using OS 8.1 and OT 1.3. The "Info" button doesn't show its MAC address and iCab reports a network error 23009 (64 TCP/UDP ports are opened, not enough resources). The cables, patch panels and router works great and my Centris 650 connects to the Internet just fine using the same lines. The NIC is a little loose in the slot, but I have to use the CS rather than the LC because I'm using a TV card in the LC slot.
Any other ideas on this? Jack---------- Hmmm. Wobbley NIC, try reseating in its slot, then maybe wedging a bit of thin plastic on one side or the other to firm it up a bit?
You do have the CS enet extension loaded?
Ken------------- If you mean, the "wobblies" then it could be that a card or two was not seated "straight in" a few times. The contacts could be a bit worn. Or, maybe the card is not seated fully in the slot. The odd angle you have to use to insert a card in that slot is a bit awkward.
