I don't think that trend speaks well for the size of the vintage Mac community. It seems to imply that more of these books are being dumped on the market as people unload their classic Macs and no longer need the text. The only reason to pay more is if the test pattern disk is still with the book. That disk is gold as it is comprehensive for the old Macs (128k-Plus, Lisa/XL & SE) and is an excellent tool for routine preventative maintenance. The exception to this trend is the MRUS for the Classic, Classic II and SE/30 which sells for over $20. Too Bad Pina dropped out before the advent of the Color Classic and LC520.
