Well thats kinda cool!

I still use my old ImageWriter II that I inherited from my Great Grandmother
(she used the Apple IIgs Woz Edition.) I've used it with my "new" LC 580, since
my HP DeskWriter 600 died... Occasionally, a friend, or somebody who knows
something about computers will compliment the fact that I am still using a dot
matrix printer, before they complain that I didn't pull the little "scrappy"
sides off, ha ha ha...

Subject: Re: ImageWriters

We used ImageWriters back in grade school, at first with our Apple
//es in
every classroom (circa 1990) and then with Mac Classics (1992
or so). I
remember at least one teacher having an ImageWriter with
some old classics
as late as 1996, and we used Mac SE's for HyperCard
and word processing as
late as 1999. However, these were attached with
Macs of other pre-PowerMac
variety to an AppleTalk network with a
LaserWriter II. When I left said
school in 1999, the school was 50/50
Mac/PC. I imagine they're all PCs now,
as they never bought any new
Macs after they got a bunch of PCs from a
technology bond.

On 8/11/05, Scott Baret <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
>
