I recently put a Newer Technology 50mhz with Cache overdrive 040 cpu in my Color Classic Mystic. The cpu works great and is really fast, but its causing a problem. I have Apple Sonic-T ethernet commslot card in it. When I use that card, after 5 or 10mb of download from any source, the system get a type 1 error. Finder blames it on whatever program was running, but if I am using chooser and downloading from another of my macs here on the home network, then finder crashes. It has happened with newswatcher, icab, and chooser. Disabling the L2 cache on the cpu doesn't stop the problem, and running Speed Doubler 8 makes the error happen almost as soon as a transfer is started. My friends on the 68k chatroom think its a timing issue with the Sonic-T driver. Have any of you had a problem like this? Any idea's how to fix it? I suppose I can quit using the commslot card and get a PDS ethernet card if I have to, but i was hoping to use the PDS slot for a picpom card (if I ever find one).

Thanks for any advice.
