Hello

I noticed today that my Mac Plus makes faint, regular popping noises from
the speaker when it is switched on. There are normally two pops per second,
and they only start when the Plus gets to the grey screen, and continue
until it is switched off. I have heard it do this before, but it normally
doesn't bother me because the noise is drowned out by the whirr of the
external hard drive. It is only in the rare occasion that I switch on the
Plus without the hard drive (for testing purposes), that I notice the
sounds.

Does anyone know what this may be caused by, and if it is a problem in any way?

Thanks in advance

Tom M
