I'm having a problem with my SE/30... It will not read a 1.44mb
disk, rather
thinks it's a 800k disk and wants to format it.. Could it be a bad disk drive? I thought maybe the drive was dirty so I blew it out but it won't
work!

SE/30s were all fitted with 1.4Mb drives, whereas SEs changed during the production run.

Perhaps the SE/30 had a 800Kb replacement floppy fitted???
