My 512Ke also has v2 (4D1E EAE1). Interesting that this hardware feature is
still supported in MacOS 6.1. The Mac512Ke Users Manual is quite comical on
this, telling users to "ignore it" if they're not interested in programming
a Mac. If they are "see Appendix C." Appendix C says that they should write
to a particular address for more info!
