Some Desktop-Macs simply don't boot: A  Performa 475  will hang with first 
attempt and may boot on second try. Simply PowerOff and PowerOn quick 
enough. The Capacitors have enough Power to "simulate" a PRAM-Battery on 
the second try. There are some other Mac's with the same behaviour.
