The black cartridge for the 1500, 1200, II, and original StyleWriter is a Canon BC-02, available everywhere, even Wal-Mart. The color cartridge, for the 1500 only, I *think* is a BC-05. But you should check that one out with any of the 3rd party ink supply web sites that show all the compatibility info. There are similar Canon equivalents for StyleWriters 2400 and 2500. By the way, I'm always interested in donations or low-cost purchases of StyleWriters II through 2500. I combine them with beige Macs which I give away to kids at the school where my wife works.
