Hi All,
I recently downgraded a Color Classic from System 7.5.3 to 7.1 in
hopes of getting a little speed gain. However, I noticed that the
desktop pattern refuses to change from the default grey. I trashed the
preference files, but that did nothing. As far as zapping the PRAM
goes, the system resets every time it's turned off; I don't have a
battery installed. Could this be a potential problem? This same thing
also happens on my Duo 230 and 270c, but that is beyond the scope of
this list.
Any suggestions for a fix?
