Yes, I agree, when I can actually build the CCD on 73.  If I remove curl
now, some programs that depend on curl will not build and, due to the 
tcl/tk issues, I cannot yet build on 73.  I would prefer to put the 
update in for now and then remove curl completely when I finally can 
build on 73.

Of course, we can simply forget this update to curl if you want.
