With the current Companion code, when one runs a nightly with protocmp turned
on, many messages result that indicate differences between what is in the proto
area after the build and what is created by the packages. I have done a
complete cleanup of these issues. The webrev is at

http://companion.sunfreeware.com/downloads/protocmpwebrev/

The changes clean up things like

1. Directories created from Targetdirs that are no longer needed in the
companion or ones created by install-sfw that are not part of the software any
more.

2. Repair of permission differences.

3. Addition of items in the prototype_com related files that are in the proto
area but not
    in the packages.

4. Removal of items in the pkgdefs that are not in proto any longer.

5. Various other cleanups.

The builds on NV_45 are now completely clean with no error or other messages of
any kind
in the log files.

Running a nightly build with the current svn repository code will produce the
list of
errors and messages I have fixed. This may help a reviewer deal with the many
changes that were made.

These changes will help new packages to be evaluated for problems by using
checkproto
or nightly without having to dig through a lot of other messages. Further, the
packages
should now have all the files needed with correct permissions etc.
