Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Karmic Koala. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. You can find out more about the development release at http://www.ubuntu.com/testing/. Thanks again and we appreciate your help.
This sounds like a bug in gdk when dealing with a non-reparenting window manager that was fixed in the 9.04 Ubuntu release. Using your test program I cannot reproduce in current karmic. ** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- Window partly out of a workspace will be moved by some gdk function calls if "Place Windows" is checked in compizconfig https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/415753 You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in ubuntu. _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
