Same probl here . Nice workaround at #211. My own workaround: When the mouse don't connect with the flash, I use the <tab> key to get to the right place - marked yellow - then I use the <enter-Key> to do the selection.
the old off/on trick with the browser also do the trick if the whole flash thing disappears.
