** Changed in: metacity (Ubuntu Lucid)
       Status: Fix Released => Fix Committed

** Changed in: metacity (Ubuntu Karmic)
       Status: New => In Progress

** Description changed:

+ Test Case:
+ 1. use karmic with a compiz capable system
+ 2. open some windows
+ 3. use alt-tab to cycle forward
+ 4. verify that shift-alt-tab to cycle backwards does not work
+ 5. install metacity from karmic-proposed
+ 6. verify that step 3 and 4 now both work
+
  When "System" > "Preferences" > "Appearance" > "Visual Effects" is set
  to either "Normal" or "Extra" (in other words, when Ubuntu is using
  Compiz), Alt+Tab navigates through windows, but Shift+Alt+Tab doesn't
  navigate in the reverse direction.

  * alt+tab works
  * windows key + tab works
  * windows key + shift + tab works

  only alt+shift+tab doesn't navigate

--
alt shift tab stopped navigating windows
