I've recently upgraded my compiz version with ppa:compiz one, that contains v0.8.6 but the bug is still here. Then I upgraded KDE too with its own ppa to version 4.4.4 but, again, the bug is still there.
I was almost sure it could have solved, reading your comment, but it is not the case. I wonder if it is a compiz bug after all...
