My freshly installed 11.04 is really unstable and it crashes quite
often. Suddenly the system freezes (capslock or numlock doesn't work and
i cannot switch to another tty). However I noticed that my laptop only
crashes when I am at my university. The only thing I can think of that
is different when I am at the university is that there the type of
wireless network connection is different. Maybe this has nothing to do
with this bug (I don't see a relation between the wireless
connection/wifi driver and compiz), but I checked the syslog and found
exactly the same segfault message as reported here.

I also have a HP Elitebook, model number: 8540w. I have an ATI graphics
card and the iwlagn driver is used for my wifi chip. At the university I
am connected via a WPA2 enterprise wireless connection.
