Public bug reported: Binary package hint: compiz
On a Sandy Bridge Macbook Pro with ATI graphics and using the radeon driver, compiz does not composite a second monitor correctly when the second display is turned on. The second display does turn on, but the output is completely corrupted and unusable. See attached photo. Primary display remains usable. If compiz is killed and restarted after enabling the second display, then everything seems to work again.
