This appears to be a window ordering/stacking problem. When you minimize
a window, an alternative window gets raised before the animation even
starts. So the window being animated isn't actually the top-most window
during its minimize animation.

** Summary changed:

- windows minimizing animation plays in background
+ Minimize animation occurs behind other windows (should be in front)

** Also affects: compiz-animation-plugin
   Importance: Undecided
       Status: New

** Changed in: compiz-animation-plugin
       Status: New => Confirmed

** Changed in: compiz-animation-plugin
   Importance: Undecided => Medium
