If this happens again, can you please check ~/.xsession-errors to see if there is an error like the one below (the "serial" number will be different)?
The program 'gtk-window-decorator' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadWindow (invalid Window parameter)'. (Details: serial 20155 error_code 3 request_code 20 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of compiz packagers, which is subscribed to compiz in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/993633 Title: Window decoration is lost after a few hours uptime in 12.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/compiz/+bug/993633/+subscriptions _______________________________________________ Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~compiz Post to : compiz@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~compiz More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
