I confirm comment #9. Maximization (both snap and through window buttons) works if the window you're maximizing can fit into the smaller screen, otherwise immediately goes into the bigger screen. Tested with both wide and tall windows, all small windows (that fit into the smaller screen), can be maximized correctly.
