I'm sorry we haven't looked at this bug in-depth for this long -- If
anyone is still experiencing this issue, please try to suspend your
computer while running the gnome-classic session without effects.
Be advised, 11.10 is nearing end-of-life. It would be best if the
original bug poster could see if his/her issue remains in 12.04+.
