Hi Von, Hmm, the last 14.04 update for Compiz came out nearly two weeks ago, but the fix put in that potentially causes your issue came out in mid February, so why you would see this with the last update has me scratching my head.
Are you using the nvidia binary driver or nouveau? I'm also curious when the last update came for your video driver.
