Hello! Some time ago eZ Systems released eZ Find [1], a search plugin for eZ Publish based on Solr. From this plugin, we are now thinking of making an eZ Component, so that also other PHP applications can make use of this search engine based on Lucene. Instead of just making an interface to Solr, the idea is to provide a more abstract interface to also allow other search engines to be plugged in. We will start soon with writing a requirements specification - if you have ideas for this, please reply to this e-mail.
