easyComponents could have been an alternative close yet distinct ;) While I understand why this can be a good decision from the project's perspective (the ASF thing, not the name ;)) and I think it's great that eZ Systems were open for it, I can't see why eZ didn't want to keep it inside and try to give it some more life internally...
