The Compose* 0.7 releases for Java, .NET 1.1 and StarLight (.NET 2+) are now available on the sourceforge site: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=82370
> Installation Installation for the .NET 1.1 and StarLight ports are as usual. To install the Java port you can either download the archive and extract the files to the eclipse directory or use eclipse's feature installation system. In the later case use the following URL for the "new remote site": http://composestar.sourceforge.net/eclipse > Java port If you previously installed Java port (through the build system) you should remove all Composestar packages from the eclipse's plugin directory. The Compose*/Java release should be compatible with both eclipse 3.2 and 3.3 (=current stable). The java release does not contain any documentation yet. > .NET 1.1 port This will probably be the last release for Compose*/.NET 1.1. It will stay active on the buildserver (and in the ant scripts) as long as the core compose* functionality doesn't conflict with the .NET code. > StarLight The StarLight release jumped a few version numbers to catch up with the rest of Compose*. When you have StarLight active on your system you should install the 0.7 release before continuing (or manually edit the registry to update the version information). Otherwise you will get errors when trying to build/deploy/tesr StarLight. > Change log An exact change log for this release is not available. It mostly contains various bug fixes. The platform and buildconfiguration has been completely replaced in this release (detailed documentation will be available on the wiki as soon as I wrote it). Old build configurations aee still accepted. Note: The VS2003 addin still produces legacy configuration files. INCRE's incremental compilation feature is no longer active (due to various bugs and inconcistencies). Additionally the visualization tool isn't included either because of a bug concerning deserialization of the compilation results. I haven't been able to figure out the cause of this, and I didn't want to put off this release for too long. > SVN The whole compose* code for this release has been tagged as: https://composestar.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/composestar/tags/v0_7_0 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
