Integer operations unggul AMD, tapi floating point operations AMD kalah
jauh. Semua MMX sucks (dia bagus kalo cuma single application, tapi kalo
udah multitask langsung kacau tuh register2 MMX-nya), sedangkan 3D Now
allegedly lebih efisien and doesn't suffer the same problems, but I never
tested it though. Selain itu, AMD sekarang jadi prosesor favorit, harganya
jadi nggak turun banyak, menurut gue pribadi kurang justifiable kalo
bandingin soal harga. Jadi pilihan terserah anda, kalau program2 office
doang AMD sangat memadai (tapi lebih reasonable pake IDT WinChip, lebih
murah soalnya, dan prosesor terbarunya sudah ada dukungan 3D Now), kalo
berat di floating point operations pake P II atau Celery, selebihnya
terserah anda.
