Kayaknya gua juga setuju deh dengan pernyataan mas Avi, tapi
ngomong-ngomong setting Linux koq susah banget sih. Ada yang bisa nolong
kaga nih : gua punya  masalah mengenai command prompt di Linux, kalau
command prompt di Linux-khan di  taruh di variable PS1, contohnya seperti
"PS1=\h:\w\\$" jadi hasil command promptnya "hostname:working_directory
user" misalnya kalau hostnamenya=rendy dan kita lagi di directory /usr dan
login sebagai root maka hasil command promptnya "rendy:/usr # ". Masalahnya
sekarang ialah :
1. Jika saya masuk ke dalam directoy /usr/local/bin maka command promptnya
akan berubah menjadi "rendy:bin # ". Bagaimana supaya diubah menjadi
"rendy:/usr/local/bin # ".
2. Bagaimana menampilkan command prompt dimana jika berada pada home
directory user tersebut maka akan ada tanda "~"(cacing), contohnya jika
user rendy berada di home dir-nya maka command prompt akan berubah menjadi
"rendy:/home/rendy~#"(kalau tidak salah seperti command prompt di slackware).

Bagi pecinta Linux tolong jawabannya atau ada yang bisa kasih tau di mana
saya bisa cari tahu jawabannnya mengenai masalah command prompt ini, thanks!
