z-buffer
Z-Buffering is a technique used by the program to distinguish which polygons are in
the foreground and which are in the background. It then performs hidden surface
removal (i.e. drawing objects such that hidden items are not drawn.) With Z-Buffering,
the applications have less to draw and hence more 'free' resources.

alternate depth buffering technic
an alternative of z buffering perhaps =)

mipmapping
Mip-maps contain a series of texture maps at different levels of detail

jadi untuk objek yang relatif jauh/kecil , digunakan texture-map
yg berukuran lebih kecil dari resolusi texture 100% nya,
thus less detail (ya ngga apa khan, wong jauh/kecil )

texel alignment
ini agak bingung ngedeskripsiinnya. 
misalkan texel itu bagian dari texture, kadang2 di layar terlihat
misalignment sehingga tampilan jadi aneh. Kalau ini terjadi
di TNT anda, coba di 'checked' , siapa tahu jadi ok.
