Baru2 ini saya bermaksud menginstal Windows XP saya ke PC yang kedua. Di booklet nya tertulis Aktivasi diperlukan untuk mencegah piracy, jadi timbul pertanyaan bagaimana sih MS mencegah piracy dengan aktivasi ini? Kalau aktivasi toh tidak dibatasi lalu apa fungsinya untuk mencegah piracy. Kalau tidak dibatasi saya kuatir nantinya kalau harus ganti HD (perlu aktivasi lagi) akan ditolak MS karena sudah pernah aktivasi 2x (license saya untuk 2 PC). Kita bisa reactivasi berapa kalipun asal di komputer yang sama, yang di cek: Display adapter SCSI adapter IDE adapter Network adapter media access control address RAM amount range (for example, 0-64MB or 64-128MB) Processor type Processor serial number Hard disk device Hard disk volume serial number CD-ROM/CD-RW/DVD-ROM drive Masing2 punya 1 poin, kecuali Network adapter 3 poin, kalau ada total 7 poin sama, maka aktivasi berlaku. 2. Kita bisa aktivasi sesuai jumlah license di komputer yang berbeda. "it is possible to install the Windows XP on 100 computers, but activation would not be successful on 99 of those computers." 3.
