Hello, Starting early this morning, when I start my computer, every now and again I'll encounter the dreaded BSOD. And every now and again Windows will successfully recover from it, and tell me the fatal error was caused by my NVIDIA Graphics Driver.
So, naturally, the next thing I do is try to update the NVIDIA Graphics Driver, using both Windows Update and Device Manager, but both programs say that the best driver for my NVIDIA GeForce 6150 LE (which uses NVIDIA Graphics Driver) is already installed. And apparently with good reason, too: The last time I tried to update my graphics driver from the NVIDIA site, the newer driver failed, and Windows had to roll back to the original driver. But, of course, now I am left in a quandary. With this recurring BSOD, and Windows not recommending any update to my graphics driver... is it time to just give up and start again, by reformatting my hard drive and reinstalling Windows?
