I have an IBM x31 ...older model which is very well built as opposed to later x40+ which is tinny... It's small and does not have an optical drive. Take a look at the T series IBMs after model 23 which have a drive slot where you can get a DVDR and also other stuff fits in there. They are great and not tinny. Try overstock.com and elsewhere. I purchased from NY city vendor who is VERY conscientious and helpful. They have a webiste lots of which is in an oriental language but don't be put off ...on the fone they are all english speaking and nice. They are an authorized IBM repair facility. The one I purchased was a refurb. It looked brand new and had all the IBM software just like a new one. http://www.greatamco.com/ I have nothing to do with them so this is not a plug.
