Why not start with using photos of the art as your screensaver. Select a
folder of art so that the pictures will fade in and fade to the next
photo as people walk by. That could spark some curiosity. Tell them how
easy it is to do that, then show them how.

Then clear off the desktop and leave a link, alias, folder--some way for a passer-by to go directly into an easy to use catalog. Do you have a catalog program that works OK as read-only?

You have to make it usefully important. I would make art-related content
very accessible. This may not happen until you do get it displaying your
art inventory.
