I know that the message gets to yahoo because it's listed in the "email commands"!

Here is a problem I run into that is not really Yahoogroups problem.

Every now and then my ISP (earthlink) just drops emails. I mean they drop them, I don't get them and they go into the etherworld. (This happened with a few important notifications for payments I receive for a couple of accounts.)

I also cannot set my charter addresses as alternatives to Yahoogroups as Charter will not let their authorization email into the system.

I am not sure where the problem lies, but I suspect it is because yahoogroups mail is often tagged as spam by some major spam filters and it it just gets filtered out.

This might be a good reason to switch to Googlegroups, but they are not without problems either.

Stewart, thanks for your reply. I've always had all of those boxes checked. On receipt of your message, I went back and looked at them, and they're still checked.

I think that I'm getting notified if an application makes it to Pending, and anyhow I check Pending regardless of any notification. It's just that many applications for memberships just don't get from "E-mail Commands" to "Pending"!! And Yahoo doesn't seem to care!!
