should one download and wipe the chip after each set of photos? I would worry about the $1.98 chip reader and the software encompassing it. I notice the new iMacs do not have a built in chip reader. my econoCompacs and cheapAcers both do. My X+gigabite chips hold a thousand images. I download as I use, and when the chip is finally filled, I store it full, and install a new chip.
